Last night we had our second education meeting. Just one more to go next week - one more thing to check off on the long list of becoming adoptive parents, right? :)
It went really well. They actually had an adoptive mom come in to speak to us with her little 3 year old daughter adopted from China. ummmm....not really sure what she said. I pretty much was mesmerized by this beautiful little girl. I do know they adopted her with a hole in her heart that she had fixed about 3 months ago. So they went special needs. It was really neat to hear her story. ( I guess I must have listened!) And the best part - her name was Mia.
Copying a post from a few weeks back here in case you missed my first "Mia" encounter:
Blessings in store....
COOL NIGHT, Huh? :)
